Movable A Major Chord

Next big step!
The movable "A " chord

Learn a new way to play the "A" chord using your 2nd, 3rd and 4th fingers
This will leave your 1rst finger free to play barre chords.
You will use this fingering to move the "A" chord up the neck.

Move the new "A" chord up one fret.
At the 1rst fret your 1rst finger will cover five strings.
This is the "Bb Major" chord.
A simpler way to play this Bb is to only place your first finger on the first string.
Move up to the 2nd fret for the "B Major" chord.
Move up to the 3rd fret for the "C Major" chord.
Keep moving up the neck to play other chords using your movable "A" chord.
They are "C# or Db", "D", "D# or Eb", "E", "F", "F# or Gb", "G", "G#" and "A"

There are other ways to play these chords, which we'll get to later.
